Raul Fajardo is the L3 Customer Support Manager for Certent, Inc., supporting over 1,300 corporate clients on Certent’s Equity Management and Disclosure Management systems. His teams provide a wide range of support ranging from 10k/10Q filing to providing equity compensation expertise for ASC 718, IFRS2, ESPP processing, Section 16, and more. Raul has more than twenty years’ experience in equity compensation. He speaks at various equity compensation conferences on topics such as valuation, accounting, forecasting, tax accounting, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Certent, Inc., Raul was a Finance Manager for Qualcomm, where he was responsible for the financial reporting of Qualcomm's equity compensation programs, including performance-based plans, restricted stock, stock options, and ESPP. Raul is a Certified Equity Professional.

Kevin Hassan
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP

Kevin Hassan is a Managing Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is based in Stamford, Connecticut. Kevin specializes in all aspects of accounting for employee benefits with a specialization in the accounting for executive compensation, including stock-based compensation, short-term and long-term cash incentive compensation, and deferred compensation. Additionally, Kevin is a recognized Subject Matter Expert throughout the Firm on Stock-Based Compensation issues.

Kevin is in demand as a speaker on share-based payment accounting including speaking at the E*Trade "Directions" National Trade Conference, Transcentive's "Source" National Trade Conference and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) National Conference and Local Chapter meetings as well as the Executive Enterprises Institute Stock Compensation training, and has published articles in The Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finances as well as assisted in the drafting of a chapter in the BNA Book, “Executive Compensation”.

Kevin has 37 years of varied experience including in the audit practice for 17 years and in the Global Human Resource Solutions (GHRS) practice for 20 years. Mr. Hassan is a member of the GHRS HR Accounting Advisory Unit with primary responsibility for answering consulting questions regarding the application of accounting principles surrounding stock-based compensation. Kevin has been involved in the development of Firm Materials including the monograph on ASC 718 as well as developing and instructing the Firm training courses on Share-Based Payment.

Kevin is a CPA in the State of Connecticut since 1984 and graduated summa cum laude from Manhattan College in 1981.

Bill is the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Accounting (FRA) Services at Stock & Option Solutions or SOS. He enjoys collaborating with the SOS Team to help public and private clients with their equity compensation accounting challenges and financial reporting compliance. He's primarily responsible for helping clients with the stock comp portion of their accounting close and reporting processes and staying current with equity compensation developments and regulatory changes. Prior to joining SOS in October 2015, Bill spent 12+ years in roles of increasing responsibility at various publicly traded companies in the software and manufacturing industries and started his professional career as an external auditor at a Big 4 Public Accounting Firm. Bill's areas of expertise include stock-based compensation accounting/financial reporting, global external reporting (including SEC Reporting), coordinating the accounting close, monitoring internal controls compliance and performing internal and external audit services. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University- Kelley School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Equity Professional. He is also a member of NASPP, GEO, the SEC Professionals Group and serves as a guest speaker at various equity conferences.
